Learning Outcomes
The in-depth understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as it evolves through time. It covers both Classical (Symbolic) AI, where the problem is described abstractly and standardized with symbols, and combined with search algorithms to solve it, and Computational TN which uses complex mathematical models and theories, and intelligence is obtained through extensive mathematical calculations.
Indicative Module Content
- Classical (Symbolic) AI:
- Standardized problem description
- Blind search
- Heuristic search
- Adversarial search / “games”
- Knowledge representation and reasoning
- Knowledge systems / expert systems
- Computational AI:
- Genetic Algorithms
- Fuzzy Logic and Fuzzy Control
- Artificial Neural Networks
