Description: This lecture explores the foundational principles and real-world applications of enterprise architecture in large, complex environments, using the American University of Beirut (AUB), AUB Online, AUB Mediterraneo, and the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC) as a case study. Students will gain insights into how academic, clinical, and online ecosystems are integrated through a robust enterprise architecture framework, covering key systems such as Student Information Systems, ERP, CRM, LMS, Identity and Access Management, and Cloud Infrastructure.
The session will delve into architectural decision-making, integration patterns, scalability challenges, and security considerations—highlighting the importance of aligning technology with organizational goals across multifaceted institutions.

All students (undergraduate or postgraduate) of the Department of Digital Systems are invited to attend this open lecture. The lecture will take place in the context of the Course “Software Project Management” (8th semester of the Department’s undergraduate studies).
