Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able:
- to define XML and JSON languages for the structured description of data to be transferred between applications,
- to define grammars in a DTD language for validating XML data,
- to manage XML/JSON data with xPath, JavaScript and PHP,
- to create REST APIs following good practices,
- to make AJAX calls,
- to use maps and charts in web applications,
- to optimize the operation of the server,
- to optimize websites for search engines (SEO),
- to define recommendation mechanisms in online markets,
- to follow the best practices for a successful eShop,
- to understand privacy concepts and GPDR requirements,
- to create an online store with all the above technologies.
