Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students will be able:

  • to define XML and JSON languages ​​for the structured description of data to be transferred between applications,
  • to define grammars in a DTD language for validating XML data,
  • to manage XML/JSON data with xPath, JavaScript and PHP,
  • to create REST APIs following good practices,
  • to make AJAX calls,
  • to use maps and charts in web applications,
  • to optimize the operation of the server,
  • to optimize websites for search engines (SEO),
  • to define recommendation mechanisms in online markets,
  • to follow the best practices for a successful eShop,
  • to understand privacy concepts and GPDR requirements,
  • to create an online store with all the above technologies.
