Learning Outcomes
The course seeks to provide students with an understanding of the structure, function, and programming of operating systems for application and system development in project implementation. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the necessary basic concepts and acquired essential knowledge on the subjects related to the software control and operation of computer systems.
- Use acquired skills to apply specialized knowledge to advanced problems found in modern operating systems.
- To address and resolve issues related to the kernel software of modern operating systems, and in particular their system-level programming, as well as commenting on topics from relevant research publications.
- Analyze and evaluate modern operating systems, troubleshoots them, and collaborate with colleagues to implement a research study or paper on modern operating systems issues and problems.
- Search and study contemporary literature in international journals and conferences, explain and evaluate publications from them satisfactorily, as well as present his conclusions, if he is assigned such advanced work.
