Στο πλαίσιο κινητικότητας για διδασκαλία (teaching mobility) που υποστηρίζεται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus, θα πραγματοποιηθούν δύο επιστημονικές διαλέξεις με ομιλητή τον Dr. Roman Danel (Technical University of Ostrava, Department of Applied Informatics, Czech Republic).
Big Data (Utilizing Big Data and Data Analysis)
The lecture defines what ‘Big data’ means (and what is not big data). What is different compared with common database technology? When is it useful to use Big data and when is it better to use common technology? Disadvantages of Big Data. Examples of Big Data. Case studies in agriculture.
Industry 4.0 in Continuous Production Processes (Trends in data processing control in continuous production Systems)
The lecture presents a short introduction to Industry 4.0. There are 3 types of production – discrete, continuous, and batch – and different types of manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are used. Industry 4.0 is primarily applied in discrete production – mainly machinery or automotive. The lecture explains differences in the application of I4.0 principles in continuous production.
